Avery was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder as well as Sciences Po in Paris, France where she obtained a B.A in International Affairs and a Minor in French. After graduating Avery had the opportunity to return to Paris and work at the U.S. Embassy. After living and working in France, China, California, New York and Denver, Avery returned to the Yampa Valley to lay down her roots and pursue a career in real estate. As a local, Avery has a deep understanding and love for Steamboat’s history and traditions, which contribute to her expertise about the town and its surrounding areas.
